Adding public art to the viaducts

October 9, 2020
Today, I held an on-site meeting with the following: CSX (Railroad company), CDOT (Chicago Department of Transportation), DCASE(Department of Cultural and Special Events), Streets and Sanitation, and the Department of planning.  The goal of this meeting was to discuss the possibility of putting up a mural.  Each group that was present will be taking on the task of preparing the viaduct so that a beautiful mural can be painted.  This will not happen over night, so please stay tuned...
