Spoke at Hubbard High School's Local School Council meeting regarding the collaborative work with Principal Altamirano, Assistant Principal Krzysztofiak and parent Mr. Molina in advocating for additional custodial staff. Special thanks to the LSC Student Representatives for circulating a petition and collecting over 700 signatures in support of the issue. I look forward to working with the LSC Student Representatives on their upcoming campaign to promote a better school environment.

Met with Chicago School Board President Sean Harden and School Board Member Angel Gutierrez to discuss the overcrowding crisis at Hubbard High School. We did a walk through of the campus with Principal Altamirano and our local State legislators and proposed building an annex at the vacant lot on 63rd Street and Lawndale Ave.
