How to obtain speed humps on your street or alley
In order to have speed humps installed, a petition must be circulated for signature(s) of each house impacted.  For speed humps to be be installed, 75% of the block must be in agreement and have their name signed onto the petition. In the past, speed humps have stirred immense discussion on blocks. As a circulator, please take the petition of high regard and accuracy, as we may refer back to it in case of future issues.Once completed, you may bring the petition back to our office to begin the process. Depending on the time the petition is submitted, it could potentially take up to a year to have them installed. The earlier a petition is submitted, the better.
